Mina the Hollower tells a “bone-chilling, yet heartwarming” tale set in a 1700s gothic-horror world populated by anthropomorphic animals, drawing on Victorian-gothic influences and even the atmosphere of attractions like Disney’s Haunted Mansion.
The setup
Mina, a genius inventor mouse and member of the Hollower guild, is funded by the philanthropist Baron Lionel to bring Spark Generator technology to Tenebrous Isle. When the generators suddenly fail, Mina sails out to investigate.
The conflict
The culprit is Thorne, a bat and the former head of Lionel’s guard, who betrayed the Baron and destroyed the generators alongside his shock troopers. His sabotage unleashes a darkness that corrupts the island’s regions — from the Queensbury Crypt to Nox’s Bayou.
Mina’s mission
Armed with the Nightstar and her Hollowing ability, Mina must travel the cursed isle, confront its bosses, restore the Spark Generators and uncover the truth behind the corruption — all while helping the strange souls she meets along the way.
