About Mina the Hollower

Mina the Hollower is a bone-chilling action-adventure with an 8-bit Game Boy Color aesthetic and a 1700s Victorian gothic soul. Play as Mina, a brilliant inventor mouse and member of the Hollower guild, as she whips foes with the Nightstar, burrows beneath danger, and races to restore the island's silenced Spark Generators.

Created by Yacht Club Games — the studio behind Shovel Knight — Mina the Hollower began as a solo project by developer Alec Faulkner before a 2022 Kickstarter raised over $1.4 million from more than 21,000 backers. With a chiptune soundtrack by Jake Kaufman (and guest tracks by Yuzo Koshiro), it blends 28 bosses, 17 areas and 1,200+ handcrafted screens into a love letter to classic top-down action-adventures.
