Mina

Mina is the protagonist of Mina the Hollower and the character the player controls. A genius inventor — and a mouse — she has driven key advances in Spark technology, the bio-electric science that powers civilisation in her world.

Who is Mina?

Mina is a Hollower, a member of a guild devoted to studying the Earth and the secrets buried within it. When the Spark Generators she designed for Tenebrous Isle suddenly stop working, she sets sail to investigate — and is drawn into a desperate mission to save the cursed island from the darkness creeping across it.

In combat

Mina begins her adventure wielding the Nightstar, a versatile whip that lets her strike in four directions. Her signature talent is Hollowing: she can briefly burrow underground to cross gaps, dodge hazards and slip past enemies while invincible. As she explores she equips sidearms and trinkets to reshape her playstyle.

Legacy

Designed by Yacht Club Games as a “bone-chilling, yet heartwarming” heroine, Mina anchors a Victorian-gothic world of anthropomorphic animals — equal parts brave investigator and resourceful tinkerer.
