Whisper & Vesper
Twin blades for fast, close-range aggression, hit-and-run pressure, and precise upgrades.
Whisper & Vesper are Mina’s twin blades and one of the three starter weapons. They trade reach for speed, letting Mina attack in quick close-range bursts and burrow away before danger catches up.
Playstyle
This weapon rewards aggression. Each stab has low commitment compared with heavier weapons, so Mina can pressure a target, react to the counterattack, and use Hollowing to reset. It is the best starter choice for players who enjoy staying close and making frequent decisions.
Upgrades
The official breakdown names Lunging Cut, which launches Mina through an enemy and lets her bounce away, and Throwing Dagger, a ranged stab that must be recovered afterward. Both upgrades keep the blades’ identity intact: fast, risky, and precise.
When to choose it
Pick Whisper & Vesper if you dislike waiting for perfect openings. The range is short, so mistakes are punished, but the reward is a combat rhythm that feels active from the first swing to the last dodge.
